HOW TO DOWNLOAD E-Aadhar

 To download Aadhaar Card, follow the given steps:

Click on the link to download the UIDAI Aadhaar.

uidai.gov.in In official website.                                      

Aadhar card

Choose one of the questions:

Aadhaar Number (12 digits)

Enrolment ID (EID)

Virtual ID (VID)

Type in the number you selected and then the captcha code.

Click Send OTP.

Fill in the OTP which has been sent to you on the Aadhaar registered mobile number.

Click Verify & Download.

The PDF of your e-Aadhaar will be downloaded. 


PDF Password

Use: to open the PDF that is downloaded:

First 4 letters of your name (in CAPITAL letters) + Birth Year (YYYY)

Example:

 The e-Aadhaar can be downloaded online from the authorized website i.e. uidai.gov.in, and e-Aadhaar is equally valid as physical Aadhaar card.

 Example:-

Name: Sanjiv kumar

Year of Birth: 1989

Password: SANJ1989

In case you misplaced your Aadhaar Number

Get EID using Retrieve Lost or Forgotten service given by UIDAI, and download your Aadhaar with the recovered EID.  


Mobile App Option

The official mAadhaar app is also available for download and storage of Aadhaar.
